vi today

Works fine in an xterm/gnome-terminal/konsole etc.
X and Gnome enhanced versions
Colour highlighting on some clones
Modern language support on some clones
Still the only editor you can be almost guarenteed to find on almost every Unix box
Clones still being developed and enhanced

This talk was written on Linux/Alpha using the vile vi clone.
